Hi Steve Oostrom, hope you are having a nice day >> Nope, looks like you got it. Now if Steve would do that to his >>copy... (his's been doing from the day i joined the list & started the >>gateways) SO>Is there a way in Outlook Express to program certain e-mail addresses, SO>such as this one, to transmit text only? I tend to forget the formatting Hmm... Good question. I still have ver 5.50.4522.1200 on the laptop and I know there were some changes tween it and the version you have which according to the headers is 6.00.2600.0000 SO>because I have been exchanging images and stuff with other people, so I SO>need to set HTML formatting for that. Ah. That would make a difference. The only thing that comes to mind as far as 5.5 goes would be to setup a second identity w/ the same info as the main acct, just a diff id. Say `Steve - work' and `Steve - TC' but that could get annoying. If you were using outlook 2000 (which is also on the laptop) then there's an option under the Actions menu. Actions->New Mail Message Using->Plain Text/Microsoft Rich Text/HTML Not having OE6 I don't know if they added that to it or not. I still do files and stuff the old fashioned way, encode and import as the body of the msg. Html would work abt the same way. When they get here I just cut-n-paste to a new file and decode. -=> Yours sincerely, Paul Williams <=- ...
