For my own use, I really didn't need TSE at the time I bought it. I
bought it mostly because it had mouse support, which Qedit (Jr.) didn't.
Semware has since added mouse support to Jr. The other advantage that I
liked about TSE was that it could load much bigger files that Jr. could,
and occasionally I like to load a huge text file. With TSE I didn't have
to mess around "splitting" the file up and then loading separate parts.
Changing the key assignments is fairly easy. There's a file in the
directory called TSE.UI. Open it and go to the end, then start backwards
and you'll see the key assignments. You can even put multiple commands on
the same line to have it doing a macro (sort of) like you could in Qedit.
For the commands, you'll need the manual. When through editing the file,
you have to incorporate it back into TSE. I can't remember this command
because I'm at work now and my manual is at home. But it's easy to do.
See the manual for instructions.
