I have to agree with you there Terry. Car audio has nothing to do with
Professional audio. Pro audio is my life, and I have no interest in car
audio whatsoever. It seems to me that there should be a "car audio"
echo for the trunk flappers. Lately there has been more car audio than
anything else in here, which I find a tad annoying; folks talking about
loading car amps to .5 ohms and such is certainly not professional. The
folks that enter those autosound competitions with their vans with 20
15" subs crammed into the back expecting response to 20 cycles, don't
have the background to know that there isn't enough room in a vehicle to
support the wavelength required for that kind of low end. This is typical
of the autosound enthusiasts (no offense intended, Jason). Take care.
