                        GSE RULES
Congrats on winning the Granny Square Exchange this month!!
Here are the rules, what few there are, and the list of who
is not eligible to win when you draw at the end of the month.
1.) Winner will be drawn on the 1st of the mont from those
names who sent blocks and have not won in the past. If all
participants have won in the past, then all are eligible
for the win except for those who have won in the preceding
three months

2.) Winner shall have until the 10th to acknowledge her/his
win and post a message stating what size block, what color(s),
and pattern, if any wanted along with his/her address to send
the blocks to.
3.) Winner can pick any size block up to 12 inches.
(But please bear in mind that the participants who suffer
from illnesses that affect their hands cannot do 12 inch
blocks easily.)
4.) Winner can choose color family only, such as blue,
and not a specific color such as sky blue. Not everyone
has access to a yarn store to pickup specific colors of yarn.
5.) Winner can not choose a yarn type, such as wool only.
The winner is allowed to choose Regular yarn (meaning 4 ply
Sport type yarn) or baby yarn. These most people have on hand.
Wool, Angora, etc. would not be accessable to many of our
participants without resorting to mailorder and choosing one
that people can't find would decrease the number of blocks that
you will receive that month.
6.) Winner is allowed to choose a specific pattern if she/he so wishes.
However, said pattern must be posted along with the color and size
choices of the block so the participants will have it to work by.
7.) Winners must participate for three months after they win. The only
requirement for winners is that they make and send you a block. Thus
a newly joined participant may win the first month they make a square
if their name is drawn. That is it on the rules.
Here is the list of previous winners:
Jan/Feb 97 - Dennis Mott
Nov/Dec 96 - Carolyn Johnson
October 96 - Amie Flexner
September96 - Kim Warder
August 96 - Carolyn Kerby
July 96 - Tammy Inman
June 96 - Pat Knox
The above people are required to send you a block
