Your point is definitely understood here. My only concern would be keeping
legacy DOS based door games working within the BBS (if I remember correctly,
dosemu is not available for ARM, and what is available for ARM architectures
hasn't proven to work very well).

Although if I were to ditch the BBS and just keep the Fido stuff, that would
definitely be the way to go.
