From: "Bob May" To: "atmlist" Reply-To: "Bob May" Cardboard repair is a bit of an iffy thing. New pieces of cardboard (layer pad backs if nothing else) glued in with waterproof glue is one thing and then sand the curled up edges down to level again is one way. The other way is a new tube (they are pretty cheap) and drilling all of the holes correctly the second time around is also a choice. Then there is also the idea of getting some door skin plywood and soaking it in water to get it to seperate and using the outside layer as a skin for your cardboard tube which will definitely improve the looks of the tube.
