| subject: | Needed : Apple //gs test subjects |
I have this software I've been working on again for a few weeks, and after some struggle this week have a beta that needs testing on real hardware. The problem? I don't have a //gs (rom1 or 3) and need to know if this works. The software? Apple Game Server, juiced up with a graphical hi-res menu at that. For the willing, you will need to have a Java 6 (preferably, but 5 should work) runtime installed and have the ability to transmit data between your java-running machine and your //gs. A quick test would be to set the //gs port to 7-bit (so hi-order is stripped) and type in#2 pr#2 and see if you can get some fun applesoft goodness from a com window on the other end. The rest I can provide shortly. Just let me know you're willing to give it a shot and, potentially, help fix bugs (they shouldn't be major ones at this point). This release wouldn't have been possible without Nick Westgate's help in... well... pretty much every aspect of optimizing the code, testing and debugging. If you're out in his neck of the woods, buy 'em a beer for me would ya? Thank you for your help in advance!! :-D ][ Infinitum! -B --- SBBSecho 2.12-Win32* Origin: Derby City Gateway (1:2320/0) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 34/999 120/228 123/500 140/1 222/2 226/0 236/150 249/303 SEEN-BY: 250/306 261/20 38 100 1404 1406 1410 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 SEEN-BY: 393/11 396/45 633/260 267 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 SEEN-BY: 2320/100 105 200 2905/0 @PATH: 2320/0 100 261/38 633/260 267 |
