The FTS standard doesn't forbid spaces in the "serialno" part of
the MSGID, so programs are free to put pretty much anything into the MSGID
that is unique to a single message. The standard doesn't even say that the
first part has to be a FidoNet address. Any unique identifier for the
system is okay.
