Bruce C. will come up with a way of JP> doing this for you, I am sure. DC> Do you access both BBSs though one copy of BW or do you use DC> a second copy? I use one BW and the: Packet Preference Override or Msg Area Preference Override and select which BBS I want to configure. You can go back and configure the other BBS with another file(s) for more SIG / Taglines, as long as you realize that all those little SIG files can mount up. Of course, you can use the same file(s) for multiple BBSs. I also have 3 different copies of the BW.EXE file: BW.EXE BW1.EXE BW2.EXE Then I copied BWAVE386.CFG to: BW386-1.CFG BW386-2.CFG In BW1.EXE & BW2.EXE I used the Norton DiskEdit to change the corresponding CFG entry. I can open two different packets, and swap between them, without changing the configuration of the two different setups. Or experiment with one, without messing up the main reader. It takes up less hard drive space then having 3 different directories. I did that way back before the age of Win2000. Thanks for the heads up on the: Preferences Default Preferences Packet Preference Override Msg Area Preference Override Message Entry Preferences Automatically save new messages No For the SIG file. ___ Blue Wave/386 v2.30 --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5a* Origin: BBS Networks {at} www.bbsnets.com 808-839-6036 (1:10/345) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
