I'm not familiar with the different pkt types but it sounds like 2.2 is a
good choice. Simpler is always better.

2+ is always used by mystic. A choice of what pkt type may be in the future
since we are working on a couple of strange issues at the moment. A 2.2 pkt
might solve that but we need to get more input and look at the details.
