Hi Don! I read in one of your postings that this system is used in your
church. Cool! My church just moved into our new building. God has blessed
us with pro audio people there. We were going to get a Mackie 8-buss console
but instead got a Soundmaster P7 32 channel mixer. It's great! We have a
total of 58 lines between the stage and mixing position. It was all designed
to be CLEAN, no cables all over the place. The snakes run through the base-
ment. We have about 7 patchbays for easy access to channels and for multi-
track recording (we haven't gotten into recording yet). We use Focus Field
speakers for the mains, OAP 18" woofers for the low end. Right now we are
using ashly amps for the mains and monitors. At the monitor mix position
we have another Studiomaster console, can't remember the model. The system
is GREAT!! It sounds wonderful. I'm one of the sound engineers there. I
can't wait till we get into recording.
Well, just thought I'd write and tell you about the system. Be encouraged
brother. Our God is a BIG God! We went from meeting in a very small room
to a 500 seat sanctuary, it's just the beginning! I hope to hear from
you soon.
