BIn the case of the Hayes TA, there is no built-in NT-1, so the
BJ>POTS jack is not usable while the TA side is conducting an ISDN session.
Oh
BJ>yes, an NT-1 is a "Network Terminator", a device necessary on your end to
allow
BJ>ISDN sessions over your BRI.
The ACCURA ISDN (US Model) does come with the NT-1 built
in. An ISDN BRI U-Loop is 2 wires from the CO to the customer premises.
At the premises the U-Loop is terminated by an NT-1 device. Typically
in North America the ISDN customer must supply the NT-1 device (if it is
not already built in to the TA).
