Gerry, the conversation is about the "Z" =command=, not the -z switch.
If I run "ARJ Z ARJ250A.EXE", which has a security envelope, I get the error
message:
Can't update an ARJ-SECURED archive!
If I run the same command on an archive without security envelope, for
example:
ARJ Z ZTest.arj
I get:
ARJ 2.55c BETA TESTWARE Copyright (c) 1990-97 ARJ Software. May 08 1997
Using environment variable: ARJ_SW=
Long filenames enabled
Updating archive : ZTest.ARJ
Archive created: 1997-08-16 00:45:34, modified: 1997-08-16 00:45:34
Working...
Bad or missing SECURITY key

Cheers, Hans
