You've got about 18 too  many 9's in your data.  According to the
Department of Labor  about 0.6% of auto mechanics are women.   I would
guess that perhaps 1 in 1000 shops is woman-owned.   However, that might
only apply to independent shops.  The ownership of car dealerships,
where most mechanics work,  is another question altogether.  Still
predominantly men among the owners, though.

The shop where I used to take my Subaru for service had one woman
mechanic in the four working there---in addition to the man who
owned the shop.  That probably makes her the only female auto
mechanic in our town of 50,000.
