(Sorry this got broken up into two replies, but I couldn't see the attached
image in my e-mail so I had to come by the Yahoo Group site to see it.)

A great point.  One of the things I made certain of was that the
Chamberlain wasn't seen as a battleship in the first story, but as an
explorer going to the planet Hel'yra to uncover a mystery.

Again, while one of the reasons the Oceana ships got built intially was the
Borg and Dominion threats it was designed to have a wider mission profile
than just that.

By the way, I like the design of the Acceptian Mothership. It has a rather
ominous look to it.

Hmmmm.  Now that I think about it, that might have looked better.  We'll
have to see if the Chamberlain makes it to a refit.  :)
