I missed that one, and the appropriate answer to that inanity,
would be: " If thats so, why did the woman guard utterly fail to
guard her charge ? Had *she done her job*, four people wouldn't
be... dead. "

Indeed.

I'd love to see that: No boats for her, get out of my ocean !

Of course, because we can and we understand when we have to. Women
fail the first part, making the second part moot.
For more on that, I recommend " Women In The Military; Flirting
With Disaster ", by Brian Mitchell, and " The Kinder Gentler
Military; Can America's Gender-Neutral Fighting Force Still
Win Wars ? " by Stephanie Gutmann. Both say no.

Exactly. It was a feminised film, no question. Earlier, pre-Feminisation
films about it, told the story, and ranged among many characters, which
were all actual people on the ship, and stuck to social situations that
were possible at that time. The 1997 epic flopthing did neither.

I saw it on the tube, and I rather liked the depiction of the
sinking, it was fairly true to what we know now. Beyond that...

Exactly. Feminism is all about more goodies for women, without the
nasty old icky real equality of effort, work, and blood sweat and
tears.
