-=> Quoting Jean Parrot to Bruce Clark <=- BC> Thanks for the heads up on the: BC> Preferences BC> Default Preferences BC> Packet Preference Override BC> Msg Area Preference Override BC> Message Entry Preferences BC> Automatically save new messages No JP> What does the NO do ? I have mine to YES as I want to save JP> my words of Wisdom for the world to read. Or am I harping the JP> wrong tree ??? I keep mine set on YES also. Setting it to NO makes a prompt screen pop up when you go to save your message. It has a bunch of boxes to check mark or un-check mark before saving. Two of the boxes are for SIG & Tagline. The SIG line will be faded out if there is no entry in "Preferences" with a file listing, or an actual SIG file. Experiment by using Alt-C to change it to NO, then reply to a message. If you don't like it, do Alt-C and change it back. ___ Blue Wave/386 v2.30 --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5a* Origin: BBS Networks {at} www.bbsnets.com 808-839-6036 (1:10/345) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
