i can understand that... numerous folk in my circle are of the same mind...
then when they go to tell me about something i end up cutting them off
because i already know about it from traffic only a few hours old from
posts on FB... for example, we had a reunion this weekend... i was talking
with my father, who is very much like you, and was speaking of certain ones
who would not be there... one of those had just posted that they had a
fever of 101.5 and wouldn't be there because of strep throat... dad had
just found this out and came to tell me before i got a chance to tell
him... there's been several hundred instances like this, too... oh well...
there's that saying about horses and water, ya know? ;) :P

i'm not trying to convert you... i understand... i was just pointing out
the benefits... sure, if you don't keep up with friends and family, that's
