I pay a lot of money to travel and do not like to be harassed ...
 
I get annoyed each time I cross a US airport and I see these really
overweight people in TSA-uniforms sitting with their fat bottoms on a chair
near a door and their only  duty seems to be to look at that door making
certain that no-one uses it ... I will refrain from racial profiling but
everyone who recently has transited the Delta terminal-3 at JFK-airport
knows the sight.
 
These people have a job, do nothing, look very bored, are unproductive and
are being paid for doing that.
 
The cute thing is that they are not being paid from the taxes on my tickets
but from the taxes of the ordinary US citizens. TSA and Homeland Security
are nearly as good a job-provider for the unskilled masses as the Armed
forces are ... keeps the unemployment statistics down.
 
I guess in Canada it's better.
