| subject: | Durango - blower not working. |
I certainly have been doing my share of car work lately. This time, it is the 2001 Durango's turn. My wife told me the A/C stopped working a few days ago. After looking at it, it isn't the A/C, but the blower isn't working. The rear blower works and pushes cold air. (the Durango has two zones). I had to replace the blower relay once before in the Durango because the "high" setting on the blower wasn't working. This time, the entire thing is dead. I'll probably order the blower relay and blower motor from RockAuto. I would hate to order just the relay and that not fix it. I'm going to see if I can test the voltage at the relay today with my voltmeter and inspect the replay for any damage. It's a 50/50 shot. Blower relay or blower motor. The relay is around $10, and the motor is around $43. No too bad. - Mark --- WWIVToss v.1.50* Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 @PATH: 261/1304 266/512 140/1 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
