Thank you soo much for the info... I am on the road alot... I haven't tried to
put the other nic in since the crash... the ifconfig statements come out
correctly.  It brings up eth0,eth1,eth2 okay. it says they are intact.

Thanks again for the reply I will go back and see if I can research your
suggestion.  I was having problems with KIA  scanning for messages to me. it
would display subjects only but on scanning for the entire message the board
was crashing.  I was on the road the first time I seen your reply.  When I
logged in l8r I was having trouble getting my messages. Thanks<--
