Viruses can reside in CMOS. Thisnk about it, please: if the virus
was in the CMOS, the CMOS settings would be completely screwed and
the machine wouldn't boot. So, the whole purpose of "infecting the
CMOS" (to survive a cold boot) would be lost.
Viruses may _modify_ the CMOS, but they can't reside there.
