MG> Actually, the source for Squish is what I'm mainly interested in. I MG> looked on Sourceforge.net, and found the squish.c MG> file there, but it seems to have lots of "include" MG> lines, some of which seem more closely tied to MG> Maximus; and I was not sure where all of these MG> files are located. If there is one complete archive MG> of all required source files needed to compile MG> Squish and make it run under Linux, then that would MG> be what I'm currently after. You're better off grabbing the whole nine yards and just building Squish. Maximus and Squish contain a *lot* intermingled code -- it would literally take 3-4 hours to pare down the source tree to not include extraneous files. You can get away without max-3.03-etc.tar.gz if you want, though. You'll need a valid squish.cfg file which should go in PREFIX/etc (usually /var/max/etc). Make a directory called "install_tree" in the maximus directory to fool the configure program into thinking you have the right files in place. And make sure your squish.cfg has UNIX-style (as opposed to DOS-style) newlines.
