Hey Danny! Apr 09 22:07 07, Danny Ceppa wrote to Maurice Kinal: MK>> fdisk. DC> Nah, that will fully format the drive. No it doesn't. I created a small directory for DC> swap in XP. Xp doesn't like to swap to an external drive. I haven't bothered with swap for awhile now. If I put gcc on the 486 that needs swap due to the lack of ramspace required by some large source, such as glibc. Otherwise it is just wasted disk space so I don't bother anymore. I've now got a different machine that is able to compile for everything and it has more ramspace then it knows what to do with. As for disks I've got many options, including externals, so I am not too worried about that. It has taken awhile to reach this point but it was well worth the time and effort.
