While sipping some tequilla Stan was heard slurring to Garry

The '#' in C usually identifies a pre-processor directive. If you can
explain what followed, I can be more specific.
#include includes external header files that have function
and variable declerations. #if, #ifdef, and #ifndef are conditional
preprocessors that allow you to compile sections of code depending on
conditions or define macros dependent of those conditions.
#define and #undef - define and undefine macros for use in code
usualy used as a combination of Basic's DEF FN and CONST Statements,
though it does not act exactly the same, they serve the same purpose.
#line - can't remember
