JM> Greetings to all; speading of mysteries, the best mysteries on TV
JM> and the best detectives appear on the Arts and Entertainment network
JM> and are, naturally., English productions. Anyone agree, or you all only
 JM> readers and not viewers??
As I don't get cable, I can't say anything about A&E, but I find that PBS's
Mystery! to be my favorite source of TV mysteries. I suspect we are
watching some of the same programs as much of the programming is English.
JM> A nice combination of mystery and sci-fi are the C. S. Lewis
JM> novels such as "Out of the Silent Planet" and "Perelandra." You can't
JM> skim amd have to pay attention, but it's worth it.
 JM> Jim
I have read the three CS Lewis works, and I never saw them as mystery and
SF. Didn't see much really of the classic mystery in them. What
specifically do you see as being part mystery?
