That is what the START command does. I.e. if you have a call to
SWITCHER in one line of a batch file, the following lines do not get
executed until SWITCHER exits. But, if you replace that line by
START SWITCHER, then the remaining lines will get executed once the
sub-process has been started (assuming that you are in a multi tasking
system).
