On one of the talking heads programs they showed the 1979 "Ixtoc" well
blowout, that was only a few hundred feet down.
Yet it took 9 months to shut off that one.
BP is also practically a serial murderer, with their disregard of
safety.
The same refinery in Texas City, where an explosion happened due to
sloppy safety, just had many of the *SAME* problems caught again there.
It's almost as if BP has the attitude that safety violation fines and
lawsuits from grieving families are jsut part of doing business.
In China scummy executives like in BP get shot!
