Hi Pieter,

To take server down more gracefully then crashing it
down is to force it into "debug mode"

press both  keys at same time and
 and  keys all at same time.
It's had, but if you do it, you'll down your server

As far as it not going down gracefully, you
might not be unbinding one board properly,
and likely it's TCP/IP.

Try to unbind one board by hand first, or
one protocol, and then take it down. If
it goes down smoothly, then I suspect
this problem and I've seen it before.
