Installed from scratch to an area below the 128g mark, applied SP1, set the
registry entry, rebooted and then formatted the high end of the drive.
Works fine.
So my whole problem is something to do with my current install of XP and
it's resistance to SP1 because C: is too small.
So I drive imaged the whole thing again, this time using drive image to
also increase the size of C: to 2g but I can't get the darn thing to boot
from the imaged drive now, and it won't do an upgrade install on itself so
I'm contemplating electro shock therapy..
