IT sure did, made the MIssissippi river run backwards for a
day or so, created a lake, other goodies.

A guy I know works with the Central United STates earthquake consortium
folks, and he brought some of their measurement
instrumentation they place around to a radio club meeting
and talked about it as the program item one evening.  Quite
interesting.  HE was talking about how these instruments
always are indicating slight tremors.

I'll still take hurricanes over that damned fault line.
