In discussing politics would you consider the inclusion of childish name
tags, ie. Senator Joe (your butt sucks buttermilk) Blow, as not being
political in nature?  

Smarmy one liners followed by several screens of someone else's works is
not much of a contribution to the type of discussion that was one common
in Fido. That tactic should be dropped also.  That might severely reduce
the size of one of the groups listed above but *discussion* would flourish.
