I think it's very cool that we have a black president
 and that a black child is doing her homework at the desk where
 Lincoln wrote the emancipation proclamation. I just wish the
 black president was Condi Rice, or someone who believes more in
 freedom and the individual and less in an all-knowing
 government.

 Whitehouse now would you? I bet you forgot Condi Rice's
 expressed support for affirmative action, or her comment that
 our ancestors all came on boats, some by choice, others in

 I'm tired of a news media that thinks Bush's fundraising and
 inaugural expenses were obscene, but that think Obama's, at
 triple the cost, were wonderful. That thinks Bush exercising
 daily was a waste of presidential time, but Obama exercising is
 a great example for the public to control weight and stress,
 that picked over every line of Bush's military records, but
 never demanded that Kerry release his, that slammed Palin with
 two years as governor for being too inexperienced for VP, but
 touted Obama with three years as senator as potentially the best
 president ever.

 I'm tired of right wingers to whom the truth is a stranger.
 Obama's fundraising was done without taking pac money, Bush's
 was done with $100,000 aggregators among his "Rangers".

 Bush was never rebuked for exercizing, but for taking many
 extended vacations.

 Bush's military records needed going over, since he clearly did
 not show up for 6 months, as his own campaign admitted, and
 there is no record of another 6 months. Whereas Kerry's records
 are available if you want to bother. Last time I looked USA
 today still had them online. If not, you can get them from
 Paperless Archives for $10. That CD includes Kerry's FBI records
 also.

 The only records of Kerry's I know of that weren't released were
 his medical records. I have Bush's released records, and his med
 records are not there either. Oh, and have you ever seen Bush's
 Honorable Discharge? I haven't. I looked, and can't find it.

 Wonder why people are dropping their subscriptions or switching
 to Fox News? Get a clue. I didn't vote for Bush in 2000, but
 the media and Kerry drove me to his camp in 2004.

 Whatever you might think of Kerry's politics, he was truly a
 decorate war hero. Bush couldn't even show up for his weekend
 warrior duties.

 I supported John McCain in 2000, but when Bush's people racially
 smeared McCain's family I came to loathe Bush, and when McCain
 kissed up to Bush in 2004 I lost all respect for McCain.

 I'm tired of being told that out of "tolerance for other
 cultures" we must let Saudi Arabia use our oil money to fund
 mosques and madrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in America,
 while no American group is allowed to fund a church, synagogue
 or religious school in Saudi Arabia to teach love and tolerance.

 Well, for once you say something sensible. Now you need just a
 bit more education to get it right. It isn't Islam that is the
 problem, it is Wahabi Islam. Or just Wahabism for short. Wahabi
 is the official religion of Saudi Arabia, and almost all terror
 aimed at the US it tied to Wahabism.

 Islam is a religion of peach, Wahabies are a bunch of violent
 nutcases.

 However, they are the good buddies of the Bush family. Even the
 Bin Laden family had members attending a Carlysle group meeting
 with Bush sr on 9-11. Why do you think GW Bush had to rush so
 many of them out of the country so quickly?

 I'm tired of being told I must lower my living standard to
 fight global warming, which no one is allowed to debate. My wife
 and I live in a two-bedroom apartment and carpool together five
 miles to our jobs. We also own a three-bedroom condo where our
 daughter and granddaughter live. Our carbon footprint is about
 5% of Al Gore's, and if you're greener than Gore, you're green
 enough.

 I switched to compact flourescents before anyone heard Gore say
 the word 'Green'. What's your problem? What Gore says has zip to
 do with your contribution to Global Warming. Excessive
 consumption of oil just enriches those Wahabi who fund terror
 against us. That alone should justify switching to a green
 lifestyle.

 I'm tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I
 must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they
 do. Did a giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and
 stuff white powder up their noses while they tried to fight it
 off? I don't think Gay people choose to be Gay, but I damn sure
 think druggies chose to take drugs. And I'm tired of harassment
 from cool people treating me like a freak when I tell them I
 never tried marijuana.

 I'm tired of those who try to paint their hate whines in denial
 of reality. Yes, drug addiction is a medical conditions. The
 term disease is just a convenient reference. If you can't
 understand that you have no reason to even discuss it.

 I never tried marijuana, sniffed glue, snorted coke, or used any
 illegal drug even once. Nor even got drunk. No one ever treated
 me in anyway unusual over that, not even my hippie friends back
 in the late '60s before I enlisted. Maybe you are to sensitive.
