Hi Bill,

BG>I would, and I did. I flatly refuse to believe that a $450 Courier is
BG>three times better than a $150 Rockwell, and apart from losing my 33600
BG>connects, this GVC works no less reliably than my Courier did.

JP> I've well and truly learnt my lesson when it comes to inferior
BG>modems.

BG>The most important lesson I've learned lately is NOT to allow myself to
BG>be gouged by greedy modem manufacturers. Besides, my penis size is such
BG>that I don't need to buy another USR to feel superior in this area...

My 28.8k died (hmmmmm, still haven't sent to Lew to see if he can
revive it!) and I need a new modem quickly. Having a few international
connect (2 or 3 each week from them) and knowing that they also had
USR modems, that is what I decided on (HST has proved a fantastic
quite a few times :)

 cya later,

 Paul.

... Stupidity is NOT a handicap. You'll have to park elsewhere.
