-=> Quoting Dan Ceppa to Bruce Clark <=- DC> Is the DOS4GW.EXE a program for BW only? BC> No. BC> I think it was initially made so that, as DOS games got larger, BC> they wouldn't be restricted to the 640k boundry. DC> The strange thing is how it loads! It should be loaded with DC> DOS4GW [program] However, the BWAVE386 program loads it from DC> itself. BW hooks into it. BW seems to act as a TSR. Programs that need it just took the guess work out of loading it. They put a loader at the start of the program. If DOS4GW can't be found in the path somewhere, then the program aborts. You _CAN_ also do "DOS4GW BWAVE386.EXE" to load the program. ___ Blue Wave/386 v2.30 --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5a* Origin: BBS Networks {at} www.bbsnets.com 808-839-6036 (1:10/345) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
