Ah, you're not referring to the modem at all, but an add-on call
discriminator (like the one you have now, presumably).  Either you didn't
make that clear, or I missed the inference (probably the latter).  :)

Didn't have to use the original Pentium CPU to know that they were shit.

With constant 28k8 or 26k4 connects to Dave (instead of the Courier's usual
33k6), no diagnostics at all, no auxiliary RJ-11 socket, no upgradeability,
et al, I don't disagree with that assessment at all.  I still don't think
the Courier is worth 3X the price of the cheaper Rockwell clones though.
