Write a hello world in C, and compile with gcc -S to get an assembly
source listing. You'll see the calls to various routines. I would think
NASM to be perfectly capable, and (if I recall) several demos are
included.
They are looking for a new Assembly-HOWTO maintainer, if anyone wants
the job.
