Dos uses LF/CR (Linefeed/Carriage return)
Unix only uses LF so .. you need to use the dos2unix program that was post
here a week ro so ago. Note that this code is for 2 programs Dos2unix and
Unix2dos. Look about half way down the code and you will see where unix2dos
starts. To use do:
1. Save msg as file to dos2unix
2. Use vim to remove fido msg stuff at the top and botton of file and save.
3. cp dos2unix unix2dos.c
4. mv dos2unix dos2unix.c
5. vim dos2unix.c and search for 'unix2dos' (/unix2dos) note linenumber at
this point (for 6) and delete all code from that point til end. and save
file.
6. vim unix2dos.c and delete from top for linenumber -1, so that you get to
first line of unix2dos code comments and save.
7. Compile dos2unix.c using GCC
8. do same for unix2dos.c if needed.
9. copy compiled executable to the /var/max/bin directory.
10. to use type 'dos2unix filename'

If above info is unneeded please ignore.
