I think it was more a lack of willingness to the relationship that existed
at that time.  I honestly believe that both of us expected us to be in a
different place then we were and were heading at the time.  For the
mostpart, I think she'd agree with this assessment but it would be better
if whe spoke for herself, which as luck would have it she is really good
at.  Unfortunetly ... errrrr ... maybe fortunetly? ... she isn't here in
the DADS echo so we'll never be entirely sure.  I have some degree of
confidence in my mentioned reason.

For sure.  Like I said before, I have yet to meet Ms. Right, if indeed
there really is a Ms. Right at all.  I believe I've done the right thing
all this time and saved everyone who could have been concerned much grief
especially myself.  Not to say that I've lived an exempliary life or not
experienced any grief simply by staying single but I still think the right
course was chosen given the options that presented themselves or whatever. 
Tough to say for sure one way or the other.

That too.  I doubt pain can be avoided.  It can and does happen despite
good intentions.

So far it hasn't.  To be quite honest I never even thought about it until I
wrote it.  How important is that?

Exactly!  Third time which throws my theory out of sync.  Perhaps my theory
is sound and you are out of sync?

I always thought they think of me as one of them, but it could be that they
see me as an easy mark and are really good at pretending ... which indeed
they are ... so I suppose the jury is still out on this issue.
