Wes must have forgot to apply the btree changes i send... Scott loves to use

for(int i=0; ...; i++)

But by ANSI C++ it's illegal it should be

int i;
for(i=0; ...; i++)

Wierd, i didn't got the fail after setting HAVE_TIMER_T.. Where did you
puts it into? vars_gcc.mk?
