I can suggest another cure.  But there was a cost.

In 1981 I was went as an exchange grad student to Moscow State University. 
I left Albany, NY with stomach ulcers.  I came back in 1982 minus the
ulcers but with my first nine cavities.  I've barely had any new cavities
since.
