HG>Hi Ed,
Hi Holger,

HG>HG>Yeah, the PC-DOS 7 is (was) a very nice package especially since it
HG>HG>contains the complete PC Tools program suite. Then of course there was
HG>HG>also a Year 2000 Fixpack.

HG>EV>Holger,

HG>EV>I wouldn't know if PC-DOS 7 has all of the PC Tools.

HG>But I do know since I have the complete PCTools deLuxe v6.0 complete
HG>with manuals.

I've just got the User's Guide that came with PC DOS 7 Upgrade Edition.

The CD has "Program Disc" & "25H7021" written on
it, and a directory
listing I printed out for the CD has a Volume Name of PCDOS70.

In the root is a PCDOS70 directory dated 02-13-95 3:26p and all the
sub-directories under it have the same date, but all of the files are
dated 11-17-94 1:00p.

My directory print out says 503 files 23556338 bytes are on the CD, is
that close to what yours says?

HG>EV>I rooted around and found a December 1993 PC Computing magazine.
HG>EV>On page 166 it says DOS 6 Upgrade List Price is $99.95
HG>EV>and the Best Price is $46.00 at Comp USA and another store I can't
HG>EV>remember the name of.

HG>Well, if PC-DOS v.7 cost me something I probably have a receipt for it
HG>because I have saved all receipts for programmes and shareware that I
HG>have bought/registered.

I paid US$5.99 + State Sales Tex for mine, the receipt is dated
12-17-99.

Stacker 4.0 came on the CD and I used it for awhile on the 486 PCDOS7 is
installed on but later on decided to unStac my 3 HDs.

HG>The PC-DOS 7 I have included also a CD in contrast to PC-DOS v6.1 that
HG>is on 3.5" disks.

I just have the CD, no 3.5" disks for PCDOS7.
