Quite BG> frankly, I can't see x2 being adopted in this country at all. Rockwells and USR's Superfast protocal both need one side to have a digital connection, I think this new 43k2 FULL DUPLEX on Analog lines protocol is the go!. I really think it is possible to get more than 33k6 outta analog lines as I have seen HST get a ROCK SOLID 16k8 (ok, its semi-half duplex but its also HST's MAX SPEED) while Other protocals Try to connect at 2400-7200 and DIE on a dirty line. Its all in the encoding :) Cya! Steven Oh BTW, on this line where V.xx DIES the HST Protocol reports 0 Errors! --- GEcho 1.00* Origin: DarkZone BBS, NODE1 V.34+ V.fc HST +61-63-726978 (3:623/683) SEEN-BY: 50/99 620/243 623/352 411 630 631 681 682 683 689 711/401 409 410 SEEN-BY: 711/413 430 808 809 899 932 934 712/515 713/317 714/906 800/1 @PATH: 623/683 630 711/808 934 |
