BC> Some programs won't release their hold on a file until you Exit them. JP> I close ZOC but it is still in RAM as I leave it on the JP> taskbar for quick access. I would try to close it altogether and see JP> as you fellows are quite helpful. JP> Later ! JP> On second try. I got so close to a solution and yet again so JP> far. I got out of BW, closed ZOC and all that I kept on the taskbar, JP> re-opened BW and lo and behold, the F/M were there. For a test, I JP> got out of BW and back in again. . . gone ! What in Haddes is JP> going on ??? I think we are headed down the right path now. In the Blue Wave directory, make a Download Directory: C:\BWAVE\REC Then go into: Setup/Configure Mail Reader Directories Download Directory C:\BWAVE\REC\ After that, whenever do a ZOC downloaded of a QWK packet to your normal ZOC Download Directory, either Copy or Move it to the one in the Blue Wave directory. Make sure the copy is NOT marked Read-Only. You will want to verify this the first few downloads, just to be sure. If you Copy the file, depending on how you download, remember to go back and Delete the one in the original ZOC Download Directory, before doing another download. Also make sure that BW renames the QWK file: Setup/Configure Mail Reader Global Mail Packet Options Automatic packet rename Yes ___ Blue Wave/386 v2.30 --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5a* Origin: BBS Networks {at} www.bbsnets.com 808-839-6036 (1:10/345) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
