SH> Congrats on a fast setup and echolink connection under Linux.

Good idea. That might make things easier for former sysops who are thinking
of returning as Private "Internet only" nodes. Meanwhile, for
Windows folks who formerly used FrontDoor or Intermail, it turns out that
IRex is more familiar than BinkLeyTerm's BinkP implementation...

SH> Ah! You ended up with Kevin Kell's old node number.

PH> Actually, I looked back through the historical record

My bad! :-/ ...I did not look far enough back.

 PH> *I* had 1:249/112 from late 1991 to May 1992 before I
PH> moved to SWO. So I asked Joe if I could have it again.
 PH> ;-)

After I wrote that message, I did start wondering if something like that
might have been the case. I guess it would be more accurate to say that
Kevin had your old node number for something like five or six years.

Manwhile, I got your "moose-mail" message, and no you've not
missed any MooseChat messages from me. I'm still tying up a few loose ends
before getting back into regular message writing.

...As well, in a totally shocking development, my
social life has recently picked-up a little.

Yours in the Way of the Moose, ...Steve
