Ouch - hate to hear that!

We DID go and had a blast! We learned a lot - picked up a couple of study
guides as well. Later that night I was THIS close to ordering a couple of
Boefeng $30 radios from Amazon when I looked at the specs. Turns out the
TYT radios we bought my wife last year are similiar and have the same
frequencies! So no need to buy new radios. :-)

I've programmed several local reapeaters in and heard some traffic tonight!
So exciting - LOL

Can't promise that we will be there but definately keeping it in mind!
