VC> Have grabbed the latest two files you announced and installed them. VC> Can you confirm I can use this as a base for CVS updates? The file max-3.03-etc.tar.gz is not part of the CVS. Occasionally I will release a new one. It's all configuration files any how, so once you've installed it and have a working system, you probably won't want it again. The file max-unix-3.03b.tar.gz matches CVS tag Maximus3_03b -- if you're going to update via CVS, you should download the whole thing from CVS (otherwise, the CVS 'special files' won't be present on your disk). There have been some minor changes since 3.03b already released into the CVS. 3.03b is the best tested release -- if you want an exact copy from the CVS of what you've got now, make sure you check out that revision (command is something like 'cvs co -rMaximus3_03b' -- I'm no CVS wizard, though, maybe Andrew can comment before I have a chance to figure it out). FWIW, the current CVS changes aren't worth downloading yet. I predict some major changes coming mid-week. :) VC> This this correct for your needs? Some good hints in there. Can you post time.h? VC> Are these all safe? No, but if it builds (did you get it running?) you should be good for now. Long story short, C++ has changed a lot since the code was written; g++ still knows how to handle that code for the most part, but bitches and moans about it. It'll get fixed at some point, but it's a low priority (provided its working okay).
