I have tested the US/Canada Courier's distinctive ring discrimination, and it appears to function extremely well, even here in Oz. Of course, there's no guarantee that Telstra will use any of the domestic Courier's preprogrammed ring patterns, but if not, I'd expect the 061 SDL to be recoded accordingly.
