	DD-214's missing Battles, Operations and Campaign Service

Least mentioned and usually overlooked are Peace and Wartime operations,
campaigns and battles which are not required to be listed on the 214 (Report of
Separation) but are required on the 201-A (Report of Recognition).

There are no medals or badges for individual Operations, Battles or Campaign
service. But personal and period participation in military actions are extremely
important for history's sake, though often not by the veteran until he or she
grows older, but always by the veteran's descendants of all ages.

Dozens of Peace and Wartime operations, battles and campaigns are currently
being added for historic and display recognition. They are being listed here:
