    It must come from what I've seen in class. I've only seen structs used
    in poorly contrived socket program, parent/child shared memory, server
    /client socket/sharedmemory/ipc etc
    As you can tell, I never understood nor used structs: I thought they
    were just bitchy records. (This is what I get from listening to old
    time C programmers that just _love_ UNIX)
